full-time position offers the opportunity for a self-motivated and ambitious
individual to gain exposure to all aspects of the Artist Management field,
working closely with and providing support to a seasoned team of Artist
Managers representing an elite roster of classical singers, actors, directors,
conductors, and a variety of touring attractions. This role will provide an
opportunity to interact regularly with clients, producers/presenters, and
reports directly to the Managing Director of the firm. In this small office,
all staff members participate in every task, from the strategic to the routine.
interpersonal interaction via telephone and e-mail, applying keen critical
thinking skills to field questions and navigate relationships with clients and
performing arts organizations in the U.S. and abroad in a professional, client
services-oriented manner consistent with the company’s brand reputation.
reviewing, editing, and/or negotiating a high volume of performance contracts.
the contract lifecycle through distribution, tracking, and reporting.
editing, and/or proofreading artist marketing materials including biographies
and resumes, with an eye for quality branding of the artist consistent with the
company’s style and the artist’s professional identity. This includes
developing and advising on brand adherence through all elements of the artist’s
on and preparing suggestions for presenters/producers that thoughtfully match
the needs of the producer with qualified and available talent from our roster.
audition scheduling by coordinating communication between clients, producers,
and internal administrative staff.
annual website update and social media presence with support from internal
and/or prepare professional documents including memos and presentations
including charts, tables, graphs, etc.
the company’s executive leadership in schedule management and office
independently and collaboratively on a mix of special and routine projects in a
project management role at the direction of the Management team. These can
include planning and coordination of presentations, dissemination of
information, event organization, conference preparation, and logistics for
clients or firm activities.
general office support including but not limited to answering calls, taking
messages, electronic filing documents, organizing office inventory, and
interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential
situations with professionalism, diplomacy, tact, and poise.
collaborative attitude with the ability to interact collegially with
individuals at all levels of the organization.
business writing technique, with a keen editorial eye, and a high-level of
mastery of grammar and spelling.
organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage
rapidly shifting priorities on multiple projects simultaneously.

interest and knowledge in the performing arts, including classical music,
opera, musical theatre, and concert performances.

be a currently working professional performer or aspiring performer.
· Basic to
intermediate proficiency in HTML.

degree or equivalent (preferably in business, arts administration, or a
performing arts discipline)

2 years of experience in an arts administration role (preferably in Artist
