Theatre Non Nobis
Edwardian England: Two sisters, Isabel and Kezia, are playing with their doll's house. Their innocent play turns shockingly sinister as they use their dolls to enact the cruelty and humiliation inflicted by the wealthy on their household servants. They end their play dreaming happily of the day when they will grow up and have just such a household.
The Theatre Non Nobis production was nominated for seven 2003 Dora Mavor Moore Awards (Toronto Theatre Guild), including Outstanding New Musical and Outstanding Sound Design/Composition. This was part of Snappy Tales: Short Satirical Musicals.
