Description: Supper at Emmaus is a modernization of a biblical episode, in which disciples of Jesus traveling out of Jerusalem on the afternoon of the first Easter--now a crowded Northeastern city on a snowy winter afternoon--encounter a mysterious stranger who, in this adaptation, continuously transforms from what appears to be a homeless man, a welfare mother, a curious young student, a spiritual guide, and finally, the risen Christ.
