Beth Morrison Projects (BMP) is seeking a vibrant candidate to join our team in the role of full-time Associate Producer. This position will work closely with the Executive Director and Creative Producer in both production and administrative aspects of a fast-paced contemporary music/opera-theatre production company. Duties include, but are not limited to: -Take a lead administrative and producorial role for a series of world premiere and touring productions over the coming seasons, including productions programmed in the PROTOTYPE Festival -Facilitate communication between technical departments -Coordinate production meetings and creation and management of production schedules -Act as primary point of contact for singers, presenter, music staff, production staff, stage management, and creative team for all logistics -Assist with planning of company management aspects for touring projects including travel arrangements, visas, housing, and facilitating on the ground logistics -Travel with touring productions, coordinating on the ground logistics, company management and production logistics. -Manage rehearsal process including hospitality, coordinate distribution of scores and rehearsal supplies prior to rehearsal process -Communicate with venue teams on production, company management, marketing, website, tickets, and personnel details -Organize program and marketing materials for each assigned show -Assist with implementation and design of a quarterly marketing strategy, including e-blasts, newsletters, and press releases -Manage submissions of new works -Assist in managing Creative Producer's schedule and correspondence, including during domestic and international conferences -Website and social media management -Other administrative and producorial duties as needed/assigned Requirements: -Bachelor’s Degree or higher; at least 2 years experience in arts administration -Passion for music/opera/theater a must -Experience as a Producer in the performing arts; including knowledge of technical theater (able to discuss video/projection, scenic, lighting plans etc.) preferred -Desire & ability to travel for up to 4 weeks at a time -Highly organized; able to multi-task at a high level. -Ability to manage high pressure situations -Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Constant Contacts a plus -Knowledgeable musician strongly preferred (can read music) -Ability to work nights & weekends as needed -Driver’s License preferred.
