Stage Manager

Des Moines Metro Opera seeks a Stage Manager for Tchaikovsky’s The Queen of Spades, conducted by David Neely and directed by Matthew Ozawa. Contract dates are May 26-July 20. Rehearsals and performances are on the campus of Simpson College in Indianola Iowa, just south of Des Moines.

Applicants must have minimum two years experience, as a calling stage manager, preferably in a repertory setting.

DMMO is a non-AGMA contract. The Stage Manager receives a guaranteed 50-hour minimum fee, with an hourly overtime rate paid after 50 hours. A travel stipend and housing are provided, and having a car is not necessary.
