Stephen Kitsakos

Biography
Stephen Kitsakos has spent his professional career in the performing arts as a theatre writer, director, performing arts administrator, and professor of theatre arts. He joined the Board of Directors of The Studios of Key West in 2014, was on the Executive Committee as Vice President in 2016-2018 and recently was elected President of the Board effective July 1, 2018. A theatre writer member of the Dramatists Guild, ASCAP and a permanent member of the Lehman Engel BMI Musical Theatre Workshop, he is a graduate of New York University and received training as a theatre writer. Stephen’s work has often explored the connection between the healing power of the performing arts and the use of sacred texts to inspire contemporary storytelling.
