Synopsis
This contemporary opera buffa bollows fictional American composer Uliana Rooney through the 20th century, with all its mind-boggling changes in society, politics, and the role of women. Ever resourceful, Uliana survives all challenges--and several husbands--to ultimately triumph. Videoprojections bring to life the volatile times through which Uliana lives and serve as the main stage-set for the opera.
