Synopsis
Lucius, the pleasure-loving hero, dabbles in magic and is turned into an ass. As an ass, he suffers many cruelties: He is beaten, starved, and forced to assist in acts of crime. Eventually, he is restored to manhood and becomes a priest of Isis.
