Synopsis
Thérèse marries her sickly cousin, Camille. His mother, Madame Raquin, dominates their lives. Enter Laurent, with whom Thérèse has a torrid affair. The lovers drown Camille. Totally incapacitated, Madame deduces that the couple has murdered her son.
