On November 16, 17 & 18, 2017, the @ The Center Series continues with An Evening of Gilbert & Sullivan, featuring the great Operettas and Musical Theatre works of this highly talented librettist/composer pair. The Florentine’s Studio Artists along with members of the Florentine Opera Chorus and pianist Ruben Piirainen will bring the mirthful merriment of classic G&S to life in this @ The Center Series concert revue.

Parking for the @ The Center Series is adjacent to our Riverwest Opera Center. Free, off-street parking is available just West of our 930 E Burleigh Street address, with additional street parking on Burleigh Street.

A cabaret of songs by the Belgian master of modern “chanson.”  Known for his devastatingly personal, heart-wrenching lyrics, but also for his scathingly sarcastic depiction of society, Jacques Brel and his songs swept the pop music world of the 50s and 60s.  In French and English, starring Byron Jones.  Directed by Steven Scott Mazzola and Reenie Codelka.

Sign & Sing
SIGN & SING at Princeton University

SIGN & SING travels to Princeton University, presenting our first education workshop, "Stories of Childhood."

SIGN & SING is a nonprofit performance program that explores stories about accessibility and understanding through opera and American Sign Language (ASL). We collaborate with opera singers and Deaf actors to create innovative performances, as seen here: http://www.signandsing.org/about

November's performance workshop features Beth Applebaum, Heather O'Donovan (Princeton'16), and Adam Rothenberg and is directed by Katherine Dubbs (Princeton'14). The event is free and open to the public.
