Merz Trio Launch Concert (Theatrical Piano Trio Concert)
3:30PM - 6:30PM

Presented by Lee Dionne

Merz Trio invites you to a Launch Concert in the "Merzbau," a unique, shared space that brings together music, text, art, and conversations between performer and listener. A core musical program of piano trios by Haydn, Schumann, and Staud will be guided by readings from the dreamlike, questioning work of German author W.G. Sebald. Visual collage and spoken text pieces by visionary artist Kurt Schwitters transform the space and frame the event. By encouraging conversations between and around the musical works and other art forms, Merz Trio invites their audience into a heightened listening experience that is both strongly individual and warmly communal.

Tickets may be purchased at the event or online (details to come).
