Member Events in the National Opera Center
America: with Aaron Larget-Caplan, guitar, and guest artist Michael Hall, viola
7:30PM - 9:30PM

Presented by American Composers Alliance

American Composers Alliance presents a concert featuring violist Michael Hall & guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan in "America" with works by American composers, including three world premieres. This performance at National Opera Center in New York City begins at 7:30pm and  features viola solo works by Alice Shields, David Froom, and Matthew Davidson, and guitar solo works by David Liptak and Barbara Jazwinski. Also included are duos composed by Francine Trester, John Anthony Lennon, Darleen Mitchell, Antonio Celso Ribeiro, and Thomas L. Read, and the world premiere of  "Steps & Leaps" by Tom Flaherty for guitar & computer. The concert will be repeated in Boston on March 22. 

This event is not ticketed.

Community Event: Opera Sing-Along: Puccini

From La bohème’s familiar numbers to Tosca’s dramatic arias, Puccini’s operas are full of iconic musical hits. Learn and sing favorites from the Italian composer’s repertoire together with Seattle Opera soloists in this collaborative music-making event. Novices and seasoned choristers alike are welcome to join the fun.

West Coast premiere of Derrick Wang's Scalia/Ginsberg, conducted by Ioannis Protopapas, directed by Daz Weller, featuring Mary Beth Nelson, Aldo Perrelli, and Travis Lewis.  Performances will be held in the site-specific venue, the Moot Court at University of Nevada LAs Vegas' Law School.
