Immigrant Song: Peace and Pride
7:00PM - 8:30PM

Presented by Katie McGrath

The Immigrant Song 2020 concert series continues with Ari Axelrod and Ahmad Maksoud and friends in "Peace and Pride."

These extraordinary singers will share the tales of their ancestors' leaving their homelands, Russia, Belarus and Poland (Axelrod) and Egypt (Maksoud), and journeying to the United States, with songs that speak to the heart of their stories including Broadway, American Songbook and contemporary tunes for which Axelrod and Maksoud are known.

Music Direction by Rick Jensen. Steve Singer on percussion. Produced and directed by Katie McGrath.

Immigrant Song was founded in response to the rise in race- and religion-based hate crimes since 2016. We believe that music can heal the world, one soul at a time.
