COMPOSER
Rinde Eckert Rinde Eckert is a writer, composer, singer, actor and director whose music and music-theater pieces have been performed throughout the U.S. and abroad. Among them are: And God Created Great Whales (Obie Award), Horizon (Lucille Lortel Awardand Drama Desk nomination for Outstanding Play) and Orpheus X (2007 Pulitzer Prize finalist). He is a recipient of a Marc Blitzstein Memorial Award (for Lyricist/Librettists) from the American Academy of Arts and Letters (2005), an Alpert Award for Theater work (2009) and a Guggenheim Fellowship in composition (2007). In 2012, he won a GRAMMY Award singing with eighth blackbird and Steven Mackey on Lonely Motel — Music from Slide (for which he also wrote the lyrics). He is one of the inaugural class of Doris Duke Performing Artist Award winners (2012).

Peter Clark Baritone Peter Kendall Clark was recently cited in The New York Times for his “strong baritone” as Joe in Dicapo Opera’s The Most Happy Fella;“his soothingly sexy rendition of ‘Don’t Cry’ was, in its way, the most memorable vocal moment of the show,” according to Opera News. He has sung regionally with Ash Lawn Opera and Skylight Music Theater, and makes his debut as Sweeney Todd with Opera St. Petersburg this fall. http://www.peterkendallclark.com
PIANIST
Djordje Nesic Djordje Stevan Nesic’s pianism has been described as artful, assertive, sensitive and quietly virtuosic. During the recent seasons, Nesic recorded art songs for OPERA America’s Songbook, performed in both concert and recital at Weill Hall, and Ravinia Festival’s Rising Star Series and participated in the Emmy Award-winning PBS broadcast of This Little Light of Mine with soprano Adrienne Danrich, also issued on DVD. Nesic is a roster member of the Swiss Global Artistic Foundation and currently lives in New York City. http://www.djordjenesic.com
