Sarah Ivins, Director of Marketing and Communications, OPERA America
Sarah K. Ivins joined OPERA America as the director of marketing and communications in 2021, following seven years at the helm of the marketing department of the off-Broadway theater, Ars Nova. Now, she is delighted to manage the brand and audience development initiatives of OPERA America and the National Opera Center and to serve as liaison to the Marketing/PR Network. Originally from Pittsburgh, Ivins is now nearly an official New Yorker, with nine years in NYC. When not in the office, she enjoys the rich and varied cultural offerings of the city that never sleeps and has been a member of the Riverside Choral Society since 2017.
Nick Wise, Senior Manager, Marketing and Publications
Nick Wise is a dedicated marketer, writer, and editor with nearly a decade of experience in nonprofit arts marketing. He joined OPERA America in 2014 and has served as senior manager of marketing and publications since 2020. In his role at OPERA America, Wise supervises print and digital publications, acts as associate editor of the quarterly Opera America Magazine, and oversees all email marketing. He previously worked in the curatorial departments of The Frick Collection and the Whitney Museum of American Art. Wise holds a B.A. from Columbia University.
