Asst/Assoc Professor of Voice (Mezzo-Soprano), Tenure-Track, UC College-Conservatory of Music
DESCRIPTION
The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), a nationally prominent comprehensive college for the performing and media arts, seeks an experienced voice teacher and performing artist (mezzo-soprano) for a full-time tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor appointment, intended to begin August 15, 2025. Rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials. Initial appointment is three (3) years, after which the faculty member is eligible for reappointment.
Essential Functions
Serve as voice teacher-in-residence
Teach undergraduate and graduate applied voice lessons to voice and musical theatre majors
Teach weekly studio classes
Teach literature, pedagogy, and related classes as needed
Recruit and retain students of exceptional promise
Advise doctoral students on capstone projects, theses, and lecture recitals
Coach chamber ensembles and teach masterclasses
Maintain regional, national, and international visibility through solo, chamber, and/or orchestral performances, teaching, and/or research
Serve the college and university community through activities such as committee membership, academic advising, and mentorship of students
Desired Start Date: August 15, 2025
BENEFITS
Pay Range: $67,000 - $80,000 Annual
