Partnership Development Specialist

Reports to: Vice President of Development

About Us:

AmFund is an organization that provides unrestricted funding support to nonprofit organizations across the United States through our Fundraising Travel Program. Last year we celebrated our 25th year of service and have distributed over $60 million dollars to worthy organizations, resulting in unprecedented growth. We are seeking energetic, driven, and passionate Partnership Development Specialists to join our dynamic Inside Sales team.

Position Overview:

As a Partnership Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in allowing nonprofits the opportunity to partner with AmFund for their fundraising goals. You will be responsible for prospecting and generating new business by cold calling, qualifying leads, and converting opportunities into closed event deals. Your efforts will directly contribute to helping nonprofit organizations access the resources they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cold Calling & Prospecting:

    • Identify, reach out to, and engage nonprofit organizations through cold calls, emails, and other outreach methods to generate new business opportunities.

    • Build a pipeline of leads and continuously prospect for new clients within the nonprofit sector.

    • Actively pursue leads that are provided.

  • Lead Qualification & Nurturing:

    • Qualify leads by understanding their needs, budget, and decision-making process.

    • Effectively communicate how our products/services align with the goals and challenges of nonprofit organizations.

    • Develop and maintain relationships with leads to move them through the sales funnel.

  • Sales Presentations & Demos:

    • Conduct virtual presentations, demonstrations, and consultations to potential nonprofit clients.

    • Clearly articulate the value proposition of our offerings, with a focus on how they can solve specific nonprofit challenges.

  • Closing Deals:

    • Manage and drive the sales process from initial contact through to the securing of the partnership agreement.

    • Ensure smooth onboarding of new partners once the agreement is signed.

  • Collaboration & Reporting:

    • Collaborate with the development team and other departments to share insights, strategies, and successful tactics.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions, deals, and sales pipeline in our CRM system (Salesforce).

    • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals and KPIs.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional professional phone manner

  • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably with a focus on nonprofit organizations or similar sectors.

  • Strong cold calling and lead generation skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage nonprofit decision-makers.

  • Passion for the nonprofit sector and a genuine desire to help organizations achieve their mission.

  • Ability to quickly learn and articulate product knowledge and solutions.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce)

  •  Accuracy with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new programs and software

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.

  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in selling to nonprofit organizations or understanding of the nonprofit industry.

  • Background in fundraising, grant writing, or nonprofit management is a plus.

  • Previous success in a B2B sales environment.

Pay Range: $42,000 - $50,000 Annual
