OPERA America's National Opera Center offers affordable, state-of-the-art recording studios in Midtown Manhattan for making your next vocal or instrumental recording.
Choose from audio or video options, single or multi-camera angles, and hourly or multiday sessions — all with state-of-the-art equipment and regularly tuned pianos. Build a customized recording package with direction and editing by a professional recording engineer.

Recording Rates

Available to individuals and organizations working in opera, musical theater, chamber music, choruses, piano performance, spoken word, and other disciplines.
Self-Tape Sunday
Looking to make a self-taped recording? With our new Self-Tape Sunday on February 23, you can book our Rehearsal Hall for nearly half off the regular rental rate! One-hour self-tape sessions are available from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the acoustically excellent space. Sessions are $60 for members and $135 for non-members (includes a one-year digital OPERA America membership).
Self-Tape Sunday is open to individual singers, pianists, and instrumentalists, as well as to small ensembles. Registration is limited to one slot per person.
